Light Set Advice

I'm looking at getting a set of lights for my bike as I always seem to be riding home from a decent after-work extreming session in the dark (or at least from the pub anyway!).
Can anyone recommend a decent set of lights (front and rear) for under £100? I can't justify the £150+ cost of a Ni-Mh or Li-ion front light just yet!
I'm drawn to the Cateye EL530 And LD1100 Light Set on Wiggle for £54. Has anyone got these lights? Are they any good? Is there anything better for a similar price?
Thanks.

For a very basic set of lights purely for on road use, yes, they will be fine.0

So how about on-road use and for cycling through forest tracks etc.?
Can anyone recommend a light set like Hope etc. but for under £100?Specialized Rockhopper '07

I hate to say this but if you spend £150 upwards you will get a really good set of lights - you'll never go back.'Happiness serves hardly any other purpose than to make unhappiness possible' Marcel Proust.0
