Brake Block Wear...

I know blocks have a wear line, but how near do you let them get before replacement? Mine are down to about 1.5mm from the line now, but my LBS dude says let them go until the line has all but worn away. Last time I changed mine, i had over a mm to go, and that was nearly 18 months ago.

Just interested really - I'm still stopping, which is the main thing... :shock:

    The wear line is just an indicator, it doesn't do anything - so as long as you keep them well adjusted, and they are not distorted, you can go down to the line.
