Rear Light - The bright one, where can I get it?

Earlier this year, there was a thread (I can't find now) about a really bright rear light you could get off an ebay seller. I bought one and it was ace but managed to lose it. I can't find the shop from my ebay listings.
Can anyone remember what it was, big vague I know but not a cateye or anything, kind of blocky just flashing/solid modes but very very bright.
Can anybody help?

Nope, it wasn't that one. Two AA batteries, about 20 quid... I can see this is going to be looking for a needle in a haystack

poo, beaten to it. At least mine was cheaper (and with CRC it actually arrives before you order it- sounds impossible, I know)

Cool. I've seen this out on the road. I recognised them as a Smart brand (also known as polaris), but I hadn't got around to sourcing the exact model.

Plenty of bike shops stock Smart stuff. Ask around. It's the Best Rear Light Evar.Wanted: Penny farthing. Please PM me!

Going slightly OT, can anyone recommend a front light to pair with it. More for a being seen, rather than seeing by.
Apart from a front & rear LED lights, the usual bike reflectors, and a smattering of bright bits on shoes/clothes, should one get any other flashing or dangling bits

That's easy. These Smart lights can be bought in pairs. You can just buy the rear Smart, or the rear and front Smart in a pack! If you think the rear is bright, try the front Smart in the flashing mode !!!0 -
That Cat Eye rear light was superseded by the Cat Eye LD 1100 last year. The Smart stands out more, IMHO.delcol wrote:this is the one i will be going for to replace my fl.
