Just a quick rant, I've got a mate who's doing an end-to-end and was going well, until some old $%*%!!! ran into him. The daft old f :evil: k in the car wasn't paying attention, and may have ruined the whole thing.
Luckily my mate's OK, bar some bruising, etc. and think bike can be fixed, but has shot his schedule as he's got to rest for 3 days (plus one in hospital) but he's determined to carry on.
Mutual waves of empathy for my mate (and total whatever-emotion-suits to the old g1t) would be appreciated.
