I've not had any experience yet, but got a set of Pro Carbons on the way from [url=http://www.aspirevelotech.com[/url] which I am looking forward to! Cheaper than most UK carbon bar prices I found too 8)An MTBer, but with skinny wheel tendencies...0 -
IME I went from standard alumnium to FSA K-Force oversize carbon and there is a significant difference in stiffness - the carbon bars being way less forgiving. Because of the extra stiffness, you do tend to feel the road surface more too, so don't really help with comfort. You'll have no problems with flex however - pulling hard on the bars has a very real impact on steering too so make the handling feel more 'direct'Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0

I recently fitted Cinelli ram bars to my new bike and I have to ay that they are very comfortable as well as stiff. Dont get the same 'buzz' off the road as I did with my previous alu bars.Brian B.0

After trying some on a loan bike forked out on some ITM Sword bars for my Roubaix. Bit of a paradox I know but in fact find them more comfortable and they give better handling.
