third party insurance?

I have just looked at a few insurance sites on the web including the CTC and British Cycling and neither seem to include third party liability. Do many people bother with this or just go for theft and personal injury cover?

Cheers, James.

Are you a member of the CTC? If so, you get free £5 third part liability and legal advice through them.

Not a member yet but I have just had a look at the site again and have found the insurance details, thanks.

Worth checking existing insurance policies and benefits of other membership things.

I'm covered 3 times over. Once by CTC membership. Once by home and contents insurance, and a third time thanks to being a Lloyds Premier bank account holder.

British cycling also covers you if you go for silver or gold membership...

I wouldn't cycle without being a member of either the CTC or BC (currently in both). The free legal advice is worthwhile - they'll fight the case for you if you get knocked off and it's not your fault.
