I've peeled some torn decals off a titanium frame, but some of the sticky glue remains on the bike.

Any tips on getting them off?

thanks

  • What have you tried ? White spirit ? Isopropyl alcohol ? Petrol ? One of these should do it.

Try lighter fluid or Goo-gone... Works great and doesn't peel the paint off...

Try warm the glue up under a hairdrier, just enough to be able to wipe it off with a wet cloth.

WD40 on a piece of rag should work.

Not the best idea, since you might damage the clear coat on your bike if it's too hot...

WD40 or lighter fluid is more safer...

Believe it or not you can buy stuff called "sticky stuff remover" for that very job! Works a treat. A good hardware shop will stock them.
