Servicing Marzocchi Z2 BAM forks

I have some 70mm Marzocchi Z2 BAMs fitted to an old Orange P7 frame. They seem pretty sturdy forks and have soaked up some quite rough terrain however I am not sure they are performing as well as they could. They haven't had an oill change ever (probably about 5 years old). They look fine, the seals look fine, no oil getting past at all (assuming there's any oil in there) but I'm a bit uncertain about the handling (more so now that I've got a full-sus bike with 140mm Fox Float 32s on). I am also slightly heavy at 85kgs though in fact I think the Foxes suffer more from this than the Marzocchis.
Anyone any thoughts and also if you were going to get them serviced would you recommend:
a) Doing it yourself
b) Giving it to the LBS
c) Sending it to a specialist to tune them for your weight and if so who? (Mojo seem to be a Fox specialist).

They are a pretty simple fork to pull apart and service, run an open bath oil damper. As long as the bushings are ok I would drain all the oil out, pull the lowers off, clean, put back together and refill with correct oil weight and volume. Guide may be found here:

Make sure the headsets properly adjusted (and no play in any part of the disc system), apply front brake and rock back and forth, feeling around the fork seals for clunkis and knocks, or movement.0
