Does it inflate your tyres? if yes, then you have the correct pump!!
Most pumps (I believe!) will be able to inflate both types, usually you can turn the connector part around to accomodate both valves.0 -
i haven't used my frame pump yet, got a track pump for home use. How do i know which side is for presta and which side is for the other type?BMC TM01 - FCN 0

Usually, the connector that you switch around will have one end with a spring and another with a small, protruding plastic cross. The spring end is for presta and the end with the plasticy bit is for car tyre style valves. This is the case with my frame pump. I hope this is clear!!0

i worked it out by the fact that presta is narrower than schrader so by working out which side of the rubber was allowing narrower entry. Cheers for the reply anyway it did help!BMC TM01 - FCN 0
