Hi all, I have an Orange Evo 6 hardtail and I currently run Maxxis advantage 26x2.1 tyres but i'm finding that they tend to wander a bit in loose gravel and on fire roads and need something with a bit more grip, also they seem to be quite on the thin side so I would like some tyres that are pretty thick.
I have heard great things about kenda nevegal and the blue groove tyres are these any good?
I used to love my rockhopper as it came with specialized pro tyres on it and they were some of the best tyres I have ever had! would a set of these look stupid on my Orange? After all specialized is an accessorie as well as a bike isn't it?

Anyway my budget is around £50 for a pair so any suggestions would be great.
Oh yeah forgot to say I ride mostly single track and very minimul road riding if this helps.

Thanks Stu :)
You can touch my bike (but only if you ask nicely!!)

Panaracer Fire XC Pro's are one of the best all round tyres, approx £40 from Merlincycles.co.uk
