Odd Problem - Hope Mini's

Hi, i have a strange problem with my Hope Mini brake on the rear, if i pull lever hard the wheel will lock up easily and the brake feels firm, however, if i pull the lever gently, say to scrub off a bit of speed, it will pull all the way to the bars with no braking power. I see no fluid leakage and i have tried bleeding them but to no avail, tried searching online for similar problems and have not come accross any help. I am competent with performing my own maintenance in most areas but i am also new to disc brake systems so could do with the knowledge of more experienced users!

Definitely sounds like there is air trapped in the system somewhere.
