Alberto Contador in the Tour de France

Whilst watching the tapes of this years Tour de France, kindly taped for me whilst I was over there watching it for real! :-) I noticed that Phil Liggett and Paul Sherwen keep refering to Alberto Contador as being in his "Debut Tour de France".

I thought the 2005 Tour was Alberto's debut Tour de France? He came 3rd in White Jersey Cat. behind Yaroslav Popovych and Andrey Kashechkin.

    yep - you're right they're wrong. Imlach and Boardman get it wrong too...
