Heading home after about 50 miles today back along the A48, just outisde of Cardiff a car overtook me and the kid in the backseat leant out the window and shouted

"Helloooooo!!!!!"

I just grinned back, and decided to try and keep up with the car- kept up until the lights and the kid shouted-
"wow you're really fast!" :D

I smiled and for the next 5 miles across most of Cardiff on the A48, I peged it to try and keep up with this car while the kid in the back shouted encouragement and looked very impressed. Unfortunately at the end, on a long flat bit where all the lights were green, the car accelerated to 35mph and started to pull ahead of me, I sprinted after it but couldn't keep up. So i eased off, shrugged my shoulders and waved bb to the kid. =)

He looked quite sad and leaned out saying "byeee"

Had a smile on my face all the way back home, :D

He was only about 8 and I was dead chuffed at being called very fast. :D
Small kids- awwwwwwwww

Than never to have loved at all."

You find that everywhere in France, Nolf. Its brilliant, kids cheering you on out of car and bus windows. Theres been a few times I've burnt my legs out trying to give them a reason to cheer!
  • The way my four year old is when we are out in the car he would probably lean out and smack their backsides. He's a cheeky little blighter!

    Can we fix it?
    Yes we can!
