Tyre size upgrade

Hi, I am planning on doing the C2C at the end of August on my flat bar road bike. It is currently fitted with 25mm tyres. Is it possible to upsize to 28mm tyres and inner tubes on the same rims or will I have to replace the wheels ? It has Tektro deep drop brakes which seem to have enough clearance so hopefully that shouldn't be a problem. I just wanted something a little more comfortable for the journey and bigger tyres seemd to be a good option.

    Possibly - it all depends on what rims, frame and forks you are running. Give us a little more info and more advice may be on the way.
