I love my bike... again

After getting knocked off my road bike at the end of April, I was off the road for nearly 8 weeks - not to serious and injury but enough to make cycling uncomfortable.
In the meantime, I got a Langster for my commute to take the place of my hybrid - which then turned into my everything bike - not been on the hybrid since!
Today, for the first time since getting hit by a car, I went out on my road bike and what I couldn't believe was how much the single speed had improved my cycling
Don't get me wrong, I was no Armstrong, but my usual fade on long straights and gradual inclines wasn't evident - I actually felt an improvement in my fitness and cycling technique - am I imagining this change in my ability to pedal? my hybrid never seemed to help my fitness at all
Strange, but I'd been scared to get back on my squadra - thank goodness the pleasure has returned, which is what drove me to buy the bike in the first place
Glad to be back
