New crank help

Hi everyone im new on the website i wanted some advise on buying a new crank. Someone is offering me a BONTRAGER BIG EARL CRANK. This comes with as the person states a 113mm botton bracket what should i be measuring. or if anyone could tell me if it would fit on a trek 4300 disk '07

    The bottom bracket width refers to the measurment from face to face of the bottom bracket shell on the bike. The 113mm dimension you have been given is the overall length of the axle for want of a better word!
    The best way to be sure is to measure whats on your bike at the moment.
    Both dimensions are critical, firstly so the thing will actually fit your frame and secondly to get the correct chain line.
