Too much travel for the frame, stick to 100mm.

110 or maybe even 120 would be OK (probably) but 130 or 140 is just too big a difference. Focus on how well the suspension works (action) and not just travel. Some forks like RS Pikes have adjustable travel which you can play around with. I'd get some Pikes and set them at about 110 or 115.

Maybe a recon rather than a pike, would need a new wheel!
