Hi, any views on either of these tyres. I want a good all round trail tyre suitable for all conditions (if there is such a thing). Going to spec them on a Turner Spot.
Thanks

    hey,
I can comment on the Cinders for you. I swapped over to them from Tioga Yellow Kirins so i compromised a little width but the tires have really impressed me. Tons of grip and good in all conditions. It depends on your type of riding, if you downhill you will want a wider beefier tyre i think but for trail/XC i think you might struggle to find a more versatile tyre than the Cinder for the varied conditions we have
  • I agree with Gurnit I really like the cinder tyres. They are a good all rounder not to heavy, excellent grip, bit slow on tarmac. They perform well enough in mud. I used to run cinders front and rear, now I run a Cinder on the back and a Rampage on the front both mx casing. They are quite narrow 2.35/2.25s but are o.k for light downhill and jumping. Oh and the wear rate is excellent. I have never used the maxxis tyres so could'nt comment.

Thumbs up for cinders here...great in mud and on hardpack

I use 2.25 cinders on the front of my enduro with sealant as a tubless system and a fire xc pro on the back ..thats for xc

I use a kenda nevagal 2,35 on the front and a cinder 2.25 on the back for downhill in afan.

I use cinders both ends in mud..

I've used them both and think they are great tyres......

The Ignitor has the slight edge on speed, and is better if you ride some tarmac.

The Cinder has the slight edge on grip - especially in the damp.

Both corner pretty good and are fairly predictable when they do slide. I'm sure you would be happy with either of these tyres.

Quite a few people also rate the continental gravity, but I'm undecided about them. Although they work pretty good in all conditions, I find that when they do slide they are unpredicatable. I think they are ok for the rear, but personally I don't like them on the front.

Go for Cinders - no obvious weakpoints.
