hey
im new to this mtb game and i just bought a 24seven deviant24. it comes with manitou stance blunt 150mm forks and when i took it out for a ride today i noticed they seem very soft and bounce like crazy when i pedal standing up. whats the best way to make them harder and is it an easy job? i weigh about 16stone.
thanks
ben

Have a look in the manual, sound as though you need more rebound damping (to stop the bouncing being as quick) and maybe more preload or a heavier weight spring to add 'stiffness', you should have knobs for this on the fork but I don't know the forks so can't tell you which ones do what. maybe they are marked by stickers? just fiddle til it feels right.
