Help with removing pedals from my road bike

Hi all. Have a shiney new pair of Keo Carbons to fit on my bike. Only problem is, i can't seem to get my old pedals off !!!!!

Any help would be much appreciated

    I had that problem when putting my SPD-SLs on. It was because I failed to lubricrate the previous pedals before putting them on.

    fight with the pedals and they will come off.................eventually.

    Have you got a decent length pedal spanner? If not, invest in one as the extra leverage you get will remove even the most stubborn pedal.
  • agree you need to buy a pedal spanner, they'll come off dead easily. remember one side has an anticlockwiwse thread; local bike shop explained it simply: pedal spanner backwards (either side ) to undo and forwards to tighten up.
