There is a lot of purely selfish behaviour by drivers out there, personally I blame the car companies, have you noticed how is car ads there is never any other traffic on the roads and Ford are even running an ad campaign with the strap line "Own the road again"!! People are constantly being bombarded with the idea that to drive a car is to be superior to all other road users.

I have just as much right to use the road to get to work as anyone in a car, it is just that the bike companies don't have the same advertising budgets.

Best advice I ever got was "better get a bike then"

  • I've thought for as long time that car ads, like cigarette ads shojuld be banned.

They are just wank fantasies for deluded, modern slobs, neck deep in indulgent, narcisistic consumerism.

I saw a new VW Golf billboard advert that took the buiscuit - the night driving one. Had things like "Go night driving - no commuters stuck to their phones, no buses, no cyclists getting in your blind-spot.......etc.

    Toss off. Wankers

Does anyone know if that 'cake car' in the Skoda advert is a real cake?!
It looks convincing, but I think its totally bogus, dude.
  • Yes the car in the Skoda ad was real cake,

There was a piece about it in the paper, apparently none of it could be eaten because of health regulations etc,
