no rear hanger gears put on a hanger

hi,
i have a saracen hazzard pro, but recently bought a ddg shooter that needs a few bits , thinking of putting the s.h.p parts onto the ddg but noticed the gears were just bolted right onto the frame of the s.h.p rather thatn a hanger like on the ddg, is there a way to still put it onto the ddg?

The Saracen probably had a Shimano tourney mech with claw hanger that fit onto the drop out. You will need a new mech with allen key fiting.

I can see an allen bolt, doesnt it just unscrew and the mech comes off? Thinking now that the hazzard pro has a steel swingarm therefore doesn't really need a seperate hanger, however, they attatch the same way.

ok, im a bit unclear, the hazzard pro dosnt have a hanger the rear mech has an allen key that appears to go into the swingarm, the ddg has a rear hanger , so are you saying that the sram3.0 will unbolt off the hazzard pro with an allen key and onto th ehanger of the ddg?

Try it! Some frames have intergrated hangers, or just a thread.

Have to adjust limit stops, and set up from scratch (and compatible shifters)

well the origional shifters were the same as the ones on th sram , is there a website that has tips on doing the limit stops? (p.s thanks alot for your help you always seem have the helpfull answer i am looking for ! )

did everything by park tools and didnt seem to work so i just tiped it upside down and fiddled about with the cable tightness and screws, got them working exept 1 and 8 if i put the chain in 1st myself it stays there when you pedal e.t.c same with 8 but as soon as i change them and try to change back it sticks in either 7 or 2! any ideas why this is happening?

Check the cable runs smooth.
