I am considering buying a second hand bike and have seen a Santa Cruz Chameleon for sale, i do not even know if this would be the right frame for me as i would be doing light freeriding and want to progress to harder things. But this bike looks good, can you tell me how much do you think it is worth and what parts i would have to change for freeriding or if the frame is suitable for freeride.

Santa Cruz Chameleon -
Magura julie disk brakes
Sram X-7 shifters
Sram X-7 Rear mech
Deore XT Splined Chainset
Brand new XT Bottom bracket
DMR V12 magnesium pedals
Sram 9 speed cassette
Shimano 50 Front mech
Brand new sram chain
Manitou R-Seven 2006 forks, 100mm of travel
Wheels: Sunrim Blackeye
Hubs: Shimano HB-M475
The frame is small (15 inch's) I'm 5.6 and maybe growing.
Thanks...
:)

The wheels are budget wheels they won't stand up to a load of abuse, even though Blackeyes are ok.

R7 forks would need changing they are great for XC but not rougher riding.

Apart from that you should be fine. IMO
