Help me compare bikes and decide please!!!

Right, i think ive narrowed my choice of new bike down to the following;
Specialized Rockhopper Disc
Giant XTC 4.5
Gary Fisher Hookooekoo
I have test ridden both the Giant and the Gary Fisher, both of which feel good - although the brakes on the Gary Fisher are so much better.
Still waiting on the Rockhopper in my size to arrive at the shop for me to take out.
Has anyone had any experience with the Gary Fisher, as at the moment its looking like that one. At £650 reduced from £800, it also seems like a good deal.
Being new to MTB after a long absence, my knowledge on components is poor at the moment, so any help, opinions or advice would be much appreciated.

I snapped a Gary Fisher once (twice actually but at the same time) - not impressed. Have had Specialized & Giant too: both good. The Giant is perhaps best value.'Happiness serves hardly any other purpose than to make unhappiness possible' Marcel Proust.0
