Cateye Micro Wireless

I'd like to buy a wireless computer for my bike and the Cateye wireless micro model £35 seems to tick the right boxes. Anyone got one that can advise if any good or not? Or suggest an alternative to consider? I don't want to pay anymore than £35 to be honest and would prefer wireless as neater. Cheers

I have one, but have found it stops working with my 100mm forks.
Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt, and it was getting frustrating to do 20 miles and only register 10.
I have now taken it off. Streako

Thanks for the link jamie Ive been trying to find some zipties that actually fit cause all the ones ive tried so far are either too wide or too short in length___________________________________________________________

I've had mine for around a year now and very happy with it. Had some dodgy readings a couple of weeks ago. Changed the batteries and no problems since. I also ride Maverick DUC32 forks and have the sensor right on it's limit (72 cm distance from memory), and again, no issues. I'd recommend it. The lights not fantastic but is useful on the night rides as well

you can double/triple/quad etc up zip ties, thread one through another to increase the length.0 -
cateye enduro 8 here, works a treat and the wire is'nt really a problem. but if you really want wireless go for it, if it does'nt work as good as you want send it back before the 7 days distance selling regulation is up and try something different.0

I think that online applies on unopened goods.0 -
I got a wireless computer made by Trek, its the incite 8i its similar to a cateye but the screen is bigger so its easier to check your speed. It was about £30 from my LBS but i am sure you could get it cheaper on the internet.0

The only slighty annoying thing with the Mirco is sometimes when pressing the mode button, it's strangely easy enough to actually accidentally press both buttons and reset it.Craig Rogers0
