Broken Lock out and a rattle

Recently bought some RockShox Psylo's second hand
Should these have a Lock Out and if so how come it isn't working? And more importantly canit be fixed?

They have also developed a rattle is this related.

Forks still working pretty well!!

Anbody any ideas or advice?

What psylos and year? Some had the pure damper and climb it control

my 01 psylos had a rattle, the forks had to be stripped and rebuilt because something was loose. it wasnt detrimental though. also, the lockout should work. if they're worrying you, best to send it off to fisher outdoor.

They are Psylo SL's and apparently 2005 model from ebay advert I've just dug out of my email inbox

The Psylo was dropped for 2005, except some OE models. Yours may have an early motion control damper. Either way, it sounds like it needs a service. I would contact Fisher as above or tftuned.

I have had them serviced at my local halfords recently but to be honest I dont have much faith in them
thanks for the advice I dont suppose you know how much it would be to have them serviced there

Prices all listed. looking at 60 quid minimum. Halfords dont have the know how for a full service on this fork.
