Need to replace my stock Kona grips…

Hey all.
I have a single speed Kona Unit. I use it for commuting around the streets, to and from work etc. The stock Kona grips are grippy, until I ride for 20 mins then they get sweaty near the outsides, where my palms rest, not under the fingers. Obviously this is where I place much weight when powering up hills etc...
I want to replace these grips with something similar in size/shape, and something that will reduce the wetness/slipperiness as much as possible. The Konas are quite simple and straight, and have a pretty low profile with no flange. I like this about them. pic here They are pretty worn (bought the bike second hand) so maybe it's just a matter of buying new Konas?
I've read a bunch of reviews on mtbr.com, but many of the high ranking grips seem to be reviewed by downhillers, who most likely than not use gloves. Needless to say, I don't use gloves.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance...

get some good gloves?"Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

why not buy some gloves? not only do they make the riding more comfy, but you wont scuff up your hands if you fall off.Carbon 456... http://www.pinkbike.com/photo/8854609/0

I thought of buying gloves, but I prefer to keep my commuting as simple as possible. I.e.: just grab the bike an go. This probably sounds like a stupid reason, I know. Besides… I never fall off
Just had another look at the grips, they are fairly well worn, with a few smallish/shallow chunks been ripped out. I'm starting to think maybe a new pair will be sufficient.
But still... what do you guys/gals use?0 -

Thanks for your replies. I've decided to invest in a new set of Kona Jack$hit's, from eBay. They were perfect in every way just really worn, so I thought I'd try my luck on a fresh set. If they are still slippery when new I'll look into some of these lock ons.
Cheers

(will need to get off my arse and post a pic or two of the new bike)0
