Do I need a disk mount adaptor?

Alreet,
I just fitted some Marzocchi Dirt Jumper 2s at the weekend and they have International Standard Disc Brake Mount however when I fitted my Hayes Sole caliper it was too far away from the disk.
The forks were supplied with two 5mm washers however this still wasn't enough so I put two 1mm washers on each bolt to place the caliper nearer the disk.
The brake now works however the inner pad still rubs and makes an annoying noise when I go over rough ground. I cant adjust the pad any further as it's in as far as it will go without the disk touching the caliper itself. I also cant use any more washers as there's only just enough bolt left to hold the caliper onto the forks.
I just read the disk mount sticky however I'm not exactly sure what would help solve the problem.
Do I need an adaptor? Or are longer bolts available? Longer bolts would be better I think.
Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers,
Lee

ok you now need to set up the pads. back the static piston away from the disc. 5mm allen key in the back of the caliper."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Cheers Nick but I've already adjusted the static pad as far as I can.
If I bring it back any further the disk will rub the caliper. As it is the disk rubs the fraction of a mm of pad that is left sticking out. The caliper needs to be about 2 - 3 mm further in to give me room for adjustment.
Sorry, I should have made that more clear in my original post.
I'd take a photo but I'm at work.Current:

the sole is IS mount? and you are using the 2 5mm washers and you have shimmed the caliper with additional washers thats it.
maybe you have not simmed it enough to get the disc openong centeral over the disc?"Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

It's set up like this at the mo... (excuse my crappy drawing!)
I cant use anymore washers as the bolt is too short. I cant imagine it's screwing very far into the caliper as it is. Only takes 1 or two turns to slacken it off.
I'm not 100% sure if the brakes are IS mount as it doesnt say on the Hayes website. They fit perfect on my old Dirt Jam Pros though, wich are IS.
Bah, I should just buy some Hopes.Current:

allright min you still not got that fork on yet. right would you do is center the rotor to youre caliper and not the pads. or if you want i am heading in to the shop for 3:30 if you want i can do it for you and show you just how its done. i have to meet jay for a street thrap tonight. so i thought i would go in first to rill me gut with a subway. let me know and i can help ya. no point struggling when i can get all the graese you can eat for freeinternet (in ter net), secret sanctuary of idiots and nutters.0

Haha, nice one Russ much appreciated!
Unfortunately I work in Altens and dont finish till 5pm + I'm supposed to heading out to Kirkhill tonight (nice weather for it!). If I dont get it sorted I might pop in on Thursday though as I need to get a 1/2 link chain fitted anyway (my chain tool is too smaa).
I did actually everything on and working on Saturday... it's just the brake is rubbing and it's getting on my thrupennies. It's running pretty sweet apart from that, although the forks a bit noisy.
I understand what you're saying but I cant move the caliper anywhere except back towards the fork leg, away from the rotor. If I did that then the rotor would jam and bend as it's already near enough in contact with the caliper on the static pad side.Current:

Ah here is something that should fix it, swap the 20mm cups over.as one is longer than the other. and if they are the worng way round the disc mounting face will be too far from the caliper.
but this will mean that the wheel will need a tweek."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
Parktools :?:SheldonBrown0 -
Cool, that sounds like it might do the trick.
I'll take it up to see Russ on Thursday. I can live with it tonight if I end up going out.
