    What a fascinating site - thanks for pointing it out. I have set it to 'Now' and am waiting for a species to become extinct. Since I reset it 1455 babies have been born and 130 people have got cancer. It's very strange watching it tick upwards, knowing that I was one of the 'ticks' in 1994.

    This is the ideal site for the lazy journalist who needs a shocking statistic. I wonder how many journalists know about it?

    I like the WorldClock site - quite a good way of conveying a lot of information in an manner that is easily assimilated.
