Not often that I feel the need to blow the trumpet of others but here goes
Some of you may be aware that my bike was booked into the bike shop for the front triple seven rear and a new chain. However this is what I thought needed doing, took the bike in and imagine my surprise when presented with a bill for £5. It would seam that there was nothing wrong with the bike at all, probably a stiff link causing all the problems (bought bke secondhand) so the fiver was for a check over and a chain lube.
The surprise for me was that having delt with arseholes in garages where extra work is done whether needed or not I would have expected the same from the bike shop ( I actualy belived that the work needed doing).
