I have a bit of a problem and i think it may be my head set.

I have a GT ruckus3 idrive 7 with boxxer world cups on the front, if i apply the front brake when off the bike and push it forwards and backwards a bit it feels like something is loose and it clonks a bit.

I have tryed all the bolts etc and they are all done up well. Could it be my headset at fault.

Thanks, Cris

    you may have tried this,

loosen your stem and the top crown of the boxxers, but leave in place. tighten your stem top cap to 'preload' the headset. this pushes everything together. tighten all up.

alternatively it may be your forks

could be that the headset just needs tightening. slacken ALL top crown bolts and the stem bolts if fitted. and tighten top cap. then retighten ALL bolts and ride.

have a read of parktools for general SC headset tightening....
