How long either will last is dependent on a multitude of factors, but given as they're both entry level XC bikes, neither will last that long...

It will take most small jumps on the trails, depends on how you land them really. I still have a dawes steel frame knocking aout that has been punished alot and has never broken. so if you take care it will work.

But every depends on how you ride and treat the bike. Just keep going till it breaks is good if you have the money to get a new bike, If i were you i'd save some pennys and go for a lower end Kona or such like, will be worth it in the long run.

Have a look in CRC or Evans they have very good deals on old models.

    What is your budget etc?
