Recommend me a road frame with 'boring' handling

Hello all,
I currently have a 2001 Giant TCR, and it's a bit too twitchy for me. I used to love the handling when I raced, but I don't race anymore, and to be honest prefer the handliong of my Roberts Audax, or the older Ribble 653 bike I used to have for training.
I do still want a nice lightweight road bike though - the Roberts is a bit heavy, and probably a bit too slow handling for that sort of riding.
Can anyone suggest me a shortlist of frames to look at to replace my TCR? Probably around the £500 frame and fork price, maybe a little more for the right thing.

a nice second hand trek 5200 carbon frame might fit the bill.
its light and stable, not twitchy, and should be had for that kind of money0 -
funny, I used to have a 5500, and I really liked that. I was wondering if I was remembering it right...0
