Boardman bikes/Halfords/ good laugh

I went to my local Halfords/Bikehut in Gravesend to get a new tube and asked the young assistant if they were going to stock the Boardman bikes. He replied "Never heard of em, if we find one out the back we may put it out - sorry mate" I have never laughed so much. Talk about lack of communication. They had a poster up advertising the cycling team there and who does what but don't even know about these bikes.

It certainly made my ride home a bit more fun. :lol:

    Sounds like the traditional (almost expected) situation in Halfords.

    Stevenage have had the bikes in for a couple of weeks and the Hut manager seemed fairly clued up and ready to talk bikes.
