Travel Towells, any recommendations ?

I'm thinking of getting a travel towell for use on tour in Sept. Are there any good ones at a reasonable price ? I've seen Lifeventure ones (size L ) for £ 20 which seems a bit steep but tha t's OK if it does the biz and there are no others that are both cheaper and better (or more expensive but worth the extra cost .)

The Lifeventure ones (Soft Fabric rather than microfibre type) are truly excellent and well worth the money. It dries you really well, even if its wet, it is highly absorbant, it dries out very quickly, it is very compact and light, and it never gets smelly.

I have seen cheaper ones and the fabric is nasty fluffy stuff. I've been using mine for travel, touring, camping and Glasto for 6 or 7 years and its still great - in that light I consider it was rather cheap!

I got a small microfibre one from the local 'home & bargain', cost £1. Dries me after a shower and I'm 6 foot and 15 stone!

I'd recommend the Lifeadventure microfibre ones too, soft, do the job and dry quickly. I wouldn't bother with the large version though, the small does the job perfectly well and is a fraction of size when compacted.

Lifeventure is an excellent choice. We were gutted to lose ours the other day! We replaced it with almost the same thing from MSR, same price as well. They are worth the investment.
