Don't closely follow cycle racing all year, but have to say that for all it's scandal shock and dissapointment it's been a great race.

Following the boring predictability of the Armstrong/Disco years and last years Floyd Fiasco, I have to say there has been some great racing this year. Rasmussens last stage was awesome to watch, The TT today was edge of the seat and here we are on the eve of Paris with 32 seconds seperating the top 3 and all to play for in GC and the Green Jersey points race.
More interesting still is that 2 of the potential GC winners are on the same team, Disco one-two maybe?

I am disappointed that Bradley had to leave but the drugs-busts have to be seen as a good thing in the long run.

Looking forward to a great bun-fight on the Champs Elyses!

FF, you mightn't get our bunfight yet. According to cyclingnews this morning, there are plans for a riders protest, possibly including riders dismounting before the finish line. Haven't heard anything else though. You'll probably find the French and German teams stopping and everyone else going around under or over them.

I thought that, barring a non-finish, Boonen's got the Green Jersey sewn up?
    Mountains, ditto.
    Best Young Rider, same there.
If "The Armstrong Years" were predictable, then the other teams have only themselves to blame.
Remember that you are an Englishman and thus have won first prize in the lottery of life.
