Kona Stinky-swingarm hitting saddle

I usually run my seat as low as possible on other bikes but have found the rocker arms on my new stinky hit the saddle if the seat is low. I put the seat higher, but after flat drops of 5 foot + I think it still hits. What I would like to know is exactly how low you can have the seat without it hitting. I don't like riding with the saddle really high. If anyone has a stinky and knows I would very much apreciate your advice.

Cheers

Take the spring out of the shock and find out how low and what position you can run the saddle/post before it hits the rockers.

Thanks, I don't fancy removing the shock to get the spring off (I'll have to have a look in the manual to see how you do that) if torque wrenches are needed I doubt I'll be able do it. If no one else has any more advice I will have to do it.

    Thanks SIR HC

move saddle forward as well. but yes on fullys you need to have the seat higher as the rear wheel has to go somewhere.

You may need to increase the spring weight if you're constantly dropping to flat, to prevent damage to the shock and frame.
It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.
