Bell Variant Reviews or opinions

Hi There,
I am looking to get a helmet as plan on going to Glentress in the near future.

I have tried various Giro lids with the Xen being the most comfortable but also a lot of cash.
While surfing I saw the Bell Variant, which comes in the same sizes as the Xen and looks like a similar style of lid.......Does anyone have any opinions on this helmet and do giros and bell helments have a similar fit?
