I need advice on buying new innertube.

I have got a puncture on my commute today, roughly ten metres from my house.
I can't find the puncture as the air is coming out as fast as I am putting it in.

How do I measure for a new innertube?, 87" seems a little large, but thats how far one turn of my wheel takes me.

Any thoughts?

    87''....... :shock: 87 INCHES??? It's more likely to be 26'' on a commute bike!

    Lol, think of it in a mathematical way - 26" is the diametre
    Circumference = 2pi x radius
    = 2 x 3.14... x 13"
    I would guess that equals 87" or there abouts
  • it could be 700cc as it could be a hybrid bike seen it is used for commuting

    put the tube underwater before you inflate it , then look for the bubbles when u start putting air in. Although if its coming out as fast as your putting it in then i would say that it would be easier to just replace.
