Hi All,
yesterday I noticed for the first time that on picking up my '02 Spesh Enduro comp by the seat lifting the rear wheel clear of the ground there is a tiny, but noticable amount of play in the rear suspension. I've been unable to track down exactly which bush/bearing is causing the problem though I have elimianted the bushes holding the rear shock to the frame/link. As I've just rebuilt the hub assembly I'm discounting that too I wonder if there are any tricks for identifying the culprit without a complete rear-end strip down, and if there is is a set of replacement bearings available should it be required.

if you can see it then you will be able to feel it. hold the two parts of each pivot and have someone move the bike.
go through them all as it may be a small amount in all of them (most likely) or just have it serviced and have all bushes replaced."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

I should have added that I can feel/hear rather than see the play. It's the tiniest of tiny 'clunks' and vibrations but it's definitely there! I think that I'll play it safe and replace the whole bush/bearing setup, along with any bolts/spacers/washers that are looking worn as I'm sure that 5 years of dirt and Muc-off will have taken their toll.0
