hey guys
Work was cancelled today due to bad weather so i thought id go round the local loop on my bike and get it nice and muddy and give it a good clean after. Just finished the road section and going on to the single track and noticed my forks were bouncing alot and i was quite springy. I looked down to notice that they were pretty much bottoming out with jjust my weight pedalling . This has never happened before. I was well annoyed and thought it would be better to go home than risk snapping my forks in the middle of nowhere and having a 5 mile walk to the nearest road and i had no phone so it would be even further. My forks are RST capra T6 low quality but good for the local lap. Do i have to put oil in or something to stop the bounching about too much it has 2 little twisty things on top of the forks can i use these to adjust them? Or was it just the wet weather that effected them?
Hope you can help

Thes are not oil forks, undamped, so you can do nothing to alter the daming. They are simpky springs. the adjsuters set the sag - preload.0

sounds like the water has allowed them to move. and thy are no "working" like they would have done."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
