That's pretty neat - much better than the gmap pedometer that I've used.

(If that's your regular route, have you tried the Fallowfield Loop cycle route from Levenshulme to Chorlton? Apart from having to cross the road by Sainsbury's in Fallowfield it's totally car free - and surprisingly pleasant, gotta be better than dodging all the cr@p drivers along wilbraham road!)
