can anyone recomend a decent front mud guard to fit a fox 36 fork. the problem is that the hole in steerer tube is too small to accept most 'plug in' fittings and i dont like cable tying it on to the crown. i have been using the sks shock gaurd and really like it and dont really want to carve the plug down to make it fit

Stretch an innertube between the crown and fork arch, secure with cable ties.

I used an SKS shockboard on my 36's by making the plastic piece the nut is in smaller with a sander then i got a piece of rubber tube from an X-lite bar end plug and put it on the shaft of the bolt obviously after making that a bit thinner aswell but any piece of rubber similar size will do and then when you tighten the nut the rubber gets squashed and goes fatter and locks th mounting piece in place.Mine never budged then perfect
