The price seems slightly steep, under £300 and it gets more attractive, though not startlingly so!0

As with the previous post, bit steep. For 50 or so quid more you're getting into some pretty decent entry level bike range. Frame and wheels would not be as good but at least it's brand spankers, no miles on it, STI shifters and you can upgrade wheels etc over time.0

You have a point - also, I've never used bar shifters before - are they really worse than sti shifters?0

I've never used them so couldn't comment on how they compare but on a personal level, I find being able to shift while on hoods and drops (as with sti/ergo's) more practical. Miles better than the down tube shifters on one of my bikes of old!0
