Commuting etiquette?

I actually seen someone being lorried on Rudmoor roundabout last year, I jumped in to give first aid but there was nothing that could be done for the chap, he was still under the rear wheels. I have seen some stuff in my time and that was just as bad.
I was doored once and that ain't nice and it hurt.No 1 fan in the jonesy124 Fan Club0 -
1. Never open your mouth even if your heart is almost jumping out of your chest. This will imply to other commuter racers that you are easy fodder.
2. Never go up the left of lorries.
3. Always look up and keep aware of your surroundings. You should know what kind of vehicles are in front of and behind you and what they are likely to do.
4. Try not to go through red lights unless you reckon it's safe to do so. Not going to get all evangelical here but if you do you're going to hurt someone.
and the most important of the lot (with 2. close behind)
5. ALWAYS expect the idiot.0
