Cycle camping

We go cycle camping each summer and would really appreciate advice on good locations. We are two adults and 3 children currently aged 13, 6 and 3, some of whom travel in a trailer. We have had great holidays in Scotland (Arran- Oban), Cornwall, Brittany and Normandy and we are looking for something in the uk for a couple of weeks this august. We really want to do a bit of wild camping so want somewhere a bit remote, possibly Scotland, Wales or Pennines? We like to avoid traffic as much as possible. We would really appreciate any tips on recommended routes/areas.

We take kids to Dalby Forest North Yorkshire a great trail centre loads of kids play areas pond dipping etc and seaside about 15 miles away Scarborough or Whitby (you can't go away with kids without the seaside)

Campsite we use is Pexton Moor Farm 01751 460294 it's just at the entrance to the Forest (30 yards) where the toll booth is.

Went at May spring bank for week and rode a different route on 5 days. Going back at end of August for another week because we enjoyed it so much and only the entrance to the forest is riding on the road (important when the kids are young)
If every action has an equal and opposite reaction does that mean I will be eaten by a fly?
