Rides in the Peak District

Can anyone recommend some rides in the Peak District. We are up in Warrington later this summer and would like some ideas for some 50 mile approx road rides, hills no object (will I regret this!!). I wont necessarily ride from Warrington.

    From glossop over around torside onto main woodhead road.
    Over holme moss into holmfirth, back on yourself, and ride over a road known as "isle of skye", into greenfield. Carry on into Mossley, into stalybridge, then back up and over into glossop. thats about 40 miles.

    From glossop over the snake pass to the reservoirs, turn right and carry on until reaching Bradwell. Follow that road around until you reach a crossroads. Right again and following that road will bring you into peak forest. Carrying on will take you into chapel. Stay on that road over chunal and back into glossop. thats 45 ish miles.

    Have a look at the Bikely website. There are a few routes there (and at least one 50 miler, as I recall).
