Hi all,
I rode the Brevet de Randonneur des Alpes yesterday. It similar to the Marmotte in that it takes in the Col de la Croix de Fer, Col du Mollard, Col du Telegraphe and Col du Galibier. This time, it starts near Grenoble in Vizille, and there is no Alpe d'Huez but the ride back to Grenoble instead. It's 225 km route with 4600 metres of climbing.
I took a video diary of the ride until my battery gave in at the top of the Galibier, and wanted to share it with you all.
Cheers, Russell

Well done, Russell!
Great video too.
Do they still change the direction (clockwise/anti-clockwise) in alternate BRA events?0 -
Thanks guys. I was really pleased with it, so it gives me some good memories as well.
The BRA is every two years, and the next one will be in 2009 and start with the Galibier and then the Croix de Fer. Somehow that doesn't seem as bad the Galibier from St-Michel-de-Maurienne as it's less steep from Bourg d'Oisans.
Cheers, Russell
