Trek 2008 range

Does anyone know when we can expect to see this in the shops?

I'm after a Trek 6000 but either want the 07 model reduced or the 2008 model.

    Any reason why you want the trek 6000 ? its not exactely the greatest specced bike for the price and its not like it even looks nice.

    Good question!

    I don't know a lot about modern mountain bikes. I've got an old GT that I want to replace and a budget of upto a max of £550. I want the bike for cross country rides every 2 weeks of say 20 miles.

    From my criteria the Trek was what Evans were pointing me towards.

    I like the idea of hydro discs but want to avoid Hayes Solo which seem dire.

    What would you recommend I look at for about £400-500?

    Well i cant say ive ever tested this bike but on paper it has very good spec for the price and everyone else seems to recommend it.
