can i put a front disk brake on my back wheel?

hi, today when i was out jumping i broke my disk brake it was some shitty rst mechanicle one so what could i exspect =]. anyway i have a front hayes hmx-1 disk brake which is currently not in use and i was wondering is there anyway i can put that on my rear wheel as i have no money at the moment and i dont want to ride brakeless. :shock:
also if i need to buy a adaptor please list the price.
